Exploration
The original kits page was designed with a simple layout, but as more kits were added over time, it became clear that the existing structure wasn’t scalable or intuitive. Users needed a better way to navigate through the growing number of kits, and additional requirements were introduced to enhance clarity, accessibility, and usability.
To improve visual navigation, I initially explored incorporating unique icons for each session, aiming to make the interface more intuitive and user-friendly. However, while the icons helped differentiate sessions, they also introduced unintended challenges—taking up more space than expected and making the layout feel cluttered. After extensive experimentation and testing, we ultimately opted for a cleaner, more efficient solution: replacing icons with a color-coded system to indicate session status. This approach maintained visual clarity while ensuring a streamlined and intuitive user experience.
